Has anybody had any recent experience of bringing investors onboard for their online projects? I've a couple of projects on the go but looking to get a number of new websites started over the next few months. I have domains purchased and plans on how they will all operate etc but as we all know, times are hard, and it would be good to get some outside investment to assist with launching them etc. Any recent experiences would be appreciated! HDF
Yes i have ask my potential website biz to visit my office to see the working environment. And this do help me build more confident in investor toward my biz plan after they see my office. My biz is online selling hosting biz.
No personal experience but I've read that VC's won't even look at you until you generate traffic. If you get someone to take a look then you best have a great business plan and how you compare to everyone else in what you plan on doing. Best bet is money from family and friends at first.
Hii, If, you have really good projects and business plans with a proven track record and if you are in INDIA, we can help. Check my website www.intellexconsulting.com to know about us THanks
Hi there, Appreciate the reply and the offer. I have a track record and (what I consider anyway) good projects planned but I'm actually based in Europe. Thanks though
my company helps get you in touch with VC or angels it really depends on your Business plan and how much you are looking to get and also give up equity wise. you can email me or pm me for more information the company website is equsion.com but you really think you idea can take off send me an email and I will give it to some of our investment bankers that work at the company
economic crisis make some investor more take back there action to more criteria and selections but I think that is oke for creative talent ,I think crisis make them more smarter as well facing the hard play to attract the angel money to wing there idea to the sky
You need to be careful in these times because VC's and angels are also; they will get much more unbalanced deals (for you) because they have the money and, evidently, you don't and with harsh times you won't have it for a bit either (they reason). So don't rush into it, but yeah there are a lot of them and they are still willing if the plan is right. If you have a great plan/project, PM me and I can get you money. I know a lot of angels in Europe (I'm also in Europe).
I know the feeling. I have a mega project that had two multi-million dollar backers that backed out as the markets sank. remember VC's get their money from the company going public and selling shares off by and large. a lot of VC firms are holding on to their capital until the markets warm up a little bit. i am hoping to start looking again at the end of may if my current deal doesn't go through.
I'm aware of the business side of things. My point was more asking if investors/angels are still showing interest while there's such a big economic crisis at the moment.
