So I just noticed that I have 280 of these showing today. I checked my links and they are working and the publisher is still in business. What is going on? What does this all mean?

It means you've had 280 clicks on an advertisers link that your not or no longer associated with. It also means you may not get paid for the traffic from the link activity shown.

If your not breaking an advertisers direct linking rule, click on one of the links that received one of the invalid clicks. If you think your with that advertiser, I'm sorry. Your relationship most likely has been terminated. Check the mail box on your CJ page or the email you signed up with. I can't think of an honest case where CJ terminated an advertisers relationship with a publisher without some kind of communication. Of course there's always exceptions. But that's like showing up for work and finding out your keycard and passwords don't work anymore.

On the other hand, if your not with the advertiser sign up now. 280 organic clicks in a day is a workable number. Who knows, maybe CJ's servers had a couple brain spasms and sent the wrong ad to the wrong site. All things are possible.

No all of my advertisers are still with me and no emails from CJ. I'm wondering if this is what happend.

2 days ago I changed my link and forgot to change the drop down list of websites it was associated with. I had the link associated with another website not related to the product. After I realized this I went back and deleted the website in CJ manager because it is a website I don't use anymore. Could this be the reason?

You were showing links on site A and then moved the links to site B. You then removed site A from the associated website list. All the invalid traffic was from site A.

    Is that correct?

If that's the case you need to contact CJ right now. Just because you dis-associated an advertiser from a website, the clicks, leads, sales, etc. made when they were associated should be valid.

    Dear,
to achieve higher CTR and reduse invalid click use exact keyword matching by putting your keywords in square bracket. Example [vitamins] so you reduse your invalid click.

read my title. Invalid links generating traffic means advertisers you were associated with and promoting have been deactivated. And it also it can mean that you are placing links on websites or blogs that are not in your account.

Not sure but could it also be that the offer the link is for has expired?
