Invalid clicks

Hello,
Can someone tell me why adsense bans for invalid clicks when they could simply remove the money earned for an invalid click from your balance...
This always confuses me, as to why they don't just do that.

Thats what they do in majority of cases (where people and not the account holder are making invalid clicks), however, they ban people that deliberately click their own ads to inflate their accounts.

 

Ah right. I was not aware they did that.
Oh well. I guess I'm safe because I'll never click my ads
But then again G has a habit of blaming innocent people doesnt it?

 

They don't like having adsense members trying to con the system.

 

Yeah, but sometimes people that visit your site can make invalid clicks. I was not just referring to me clicking them.

 

Yes, mistakes happen in that some innocent people might have their accounts inactivated on ocassions.

 

How do you know they are innocent?

 

I don't _know_ but I have heard of people getting banned through no fault of their own.

 

it's easy for them to police that way. Also give good impression to advertisers

Some time they just adjust the balance without suspending the account. In that case, the account holder will get a warning message.

 

That's what they say.

 

I'm not stupid. Its obvious when people are lying about clicking their own ads.
But people will tell you quite easily that there have been cases were google bans you before the day of payment for invalid clicks when the owner has not click his/her own ads.

 

What has Paypal to do with this?
