Invalid Clicks

This is the first time this happened and I do not see anything in my logs to show anything abnormal. In my adsense account for today, I show 2150 clicks and only $.02.

I reported it to Google, is there anything I should do?

 

over 2000 clicks for 2 cents? wow

what is the usual click amount and $?

 

Low like $.60 to $.80.

I am not worried about the money just the fact that I normally am lucky to get 5 a day clicks. Only had 323 page views today.

 

Cross your fingers.
This kind of clicks/views could get your account banned.
Hopefully the Google team will carefully analyze the situation and just ignore the fraudulent clicks.

 

Seems to me that they have because it shows total $.02 for the whole day. I also reported it as soon as I seen it on Google.

 

If you had 2000 clicks and got low value,sure you have occurred many invalid clicks.Are you using dynamic ip addresses?

I am thinking it is a Google screw up because I don't show anything weird in my logs but today I have 2499 clicks and $.52 total. I can't figure it out and I wrote them yesterday and no response.

Same thing happened to me...

I didn't login to my Adsense account for a few days and didn't see the click bomb...Then I got the email from adsense saying I was banned.

 

I just got an email back from Google thanking me and says rest assured they have taken care of it and can't give me details because of their top secret detection system.
They ended with this:
"Thanks for your cooperation. We look forward to working with you in the
future."

So guess quick detection on my part and theirs was the key to not getting banned.

 

That's the standard 'canned' response.. keep an eye on your inbox for the next few weeks..

 

I hope everything is sorted out.Please keep us informed what happens with the clicks.If you get so many clicks again or not and also what google has to say about it in future.

 

They will probably ban you. They killed me with $350 in my account (best month ever!) and never offered any explanation. I worked for months to get reinstated and provided server logs.

My new advertisers make no money at all.

Screw Google.

 

2000++ clicks, $0.02. This is terrible. You must remove your AdSense Code from your site now. If not your AdSense Account will be banned.

Contact Google as soon as possible.
