I recently built a new site and added adsense to the site. I generated a good volume of page views, but never a click for the first few days. When I did get my first click on that site, it said $0.00. I contacted Google to ask them what the TLD was so that I could add it to my blocked sites list, because I'm obviously not in the business of supplying free traffic to their advertisers (supplying it for pennies is bad enough). This is the reply I got from them: Ok, now this site was only about three days old at the time of the click. At the time I contacted them about it, it was the first and only click (so repeat clicks is impossible). Keeping these things in mind, and knowing that I definitely did not click it myself, how the fubb is it possible for this to have been an invalid click? I just do not see how it is possible. Google seems to go more and more downhill all the time.
How did you "generate" the good volume of page views. Google is sometimes picky about the source of traffic, if it was bought/exchanged traffic, any resulting clicks could be seen as invalid.
How do I know it's just one? Usually by the time I see stats, there are multiple clicks, so it is impossible for me to know if any are 0.00. It could be happening every day for all I know. And aside from that, it is the simple fact that they are throwing out an invalid clicks excuse when it is impossible for the click to have been invalid. I dont like being lied to by anyone - google is no exception.
It is a site that combines social networking with video sharing and is put in place for people who are very loyal and opinionated when it comes to the niche selected. I did not need to have any traffic source like bought or exchanged traffic (I never do this anyway). The traffic occurs naturally, and with this type of site, a lot of pageviews is not uncommon. I'm generating a lot and the site's only a week old and not advertised anywhere. Perhaps I am overlooking something here, but I do not see how it is remotely possible that any portion of this was invalid. I guess they are just giving away free traffic from my site. Or maybe it's not free. Maybe they get paid just as much but dont want to pay me. How do I know?
i think you get one click from public ads. and adsense is not counting for some of the click. there is nothink to do. they are paying the money
I can't remember the last time I saw a PSA on any of my sites. Let's assume that's the case. If they had simply said it was a public service announcement, I would have said fine and disabled PSAs. That's not what they said. They said that the click was invalid, which is simply impossible in this scenario, unless there is some definition of "invalid" that I am not aware of. Perhaps that is just a canned response they throw out for anything these days.
