Introduction & a request to review my site

Hi all, my name is Brian and I found your site through an article I read on Dosh Dosh.

My site is just 2 weeks old, but I have 41 entries and have put quite a bit of time and effort in. However, this is my very first blog and I wanted to get any suggestions for improvement, adsense placement and placement of the custom search engine I can.
