I can confirm this because I had Oron on a test. I downloaded 3 files from pornbb and they were all crap. one file with the extension avi should of been .mkv but it was still a rubbish rip.
But this is the best as a free member you get 5000mb of traffic. First file I had to wait a minute, second file one hour, the third file 3 hours, the 4th file 19 hours I kid you not yet my allowance still showed 3000mb which was correct. I only had one connection, and no drop outs.
Now I run my own websites and currently use Filesonic who are fairer than most to free users. But there is no way in hell I can subject my visitors to oron's tactics. maybe good for getting premium buys in their crap filled forums, but for anyone running their own sites if they are not posting alternative file links then it will kill the sites.

The only advantage for me to use Oron is their support is quick and they pay for rebills, but even that is sketchy and could be open to errors.

I have been with Filesonic since sharingmatrix, I dont earn a lot because I don't spam forums, but seriously at this moment in time there is no better host for a webmaster IMHO.

If they could get their support system sorted, maybe offer some rebill incentive then Filesonic would take some beating where ever.

    Same here. Totally agreed.
Still, I might give Oron a try, coz the rebill incentive is teasing me...

Support is just awesome fast and good. Since i am rolling with Oron, they replied to all my concerns quick and actually helped me.
I can´t say anythig against them so far. Regarding to attract visitors to buy premium and make you a nice PPL, there isn´t a step by step instruction
instead of generating traffic through forums by publishing great valueable content i guess. Haven´t tested it running my own website yet
but i am sure they convert the same as good as on Oron Forums (if you know what you´re doing). Also the rebills are a great way of continously generating
    an income with them.

actually Oron is great. Great support, no bugs at all, a simple and easy-to-use file manager.
The only thing I hate of Oron is that 15GB download limit.
Now, for exemple, I have a megathread with several stuff and every file is around 2 GB: if somebody buys a premium, most likely he will want to download all and he will get seriously pissed off when he will find out that he won't be able to do it.
I don't understand why Oron is actually the only filehoster having such limit. Without this limit, Oron would be for sure the best.
I hope that they will do something about this issue.

Now if a new host was to come along and was 2 thirds Filesonic and the other third Oron well i think we would all suspect we were stoned or in heaven. But they know what works for them. Personally as a free user Oron sucks, and as a premium user well I think 15gb is okayish providing you don't use more than one connection per file, and you don't drop any downloads and restart it, which is just added pressure and more to worry about. However as oron have blocked RU to Filesonic then even if I was spamming the forums there would be no point in taking out their premium. Why Filesonic haven't blocked oron is a mystery, I know if I was the owner I would return the compliment, but I guess FSC aren't so petty.

All depends by what you are posting. If you are a specialist in siterips, you can figure out that the 15 GB limit is a pain in the a..s for the downloaders.
Just to make an exemple, today I uploaded 20 GB of stuff and I downloaded not less than 25GB.
Even because when they buy a premium usually they dont suspect there is this limit, because no other filehoster has it.
Usually after they got the premium, they download like crazy till when they reach the 15 GB limit and....... insults to the poster.
Actually there are some niche adult forums that want to ban Oron because of that....
BTW I'm actually NOT able to remote from Filesonic. At the beginning it was working, at one moment (like 2 months ago) it stopped working, 2 weeks ago it worked again for 1-2 days and now is blocked again. Is it just me ?

Well, thats true. First time i bought a premium account on Oron i didn´t expect there is a limit. Like you said. I´ve downloaded like crazy and got stopped out of my 30 Day Premium within a few days.
Thats something they really should think about and maybe increase this 15 GB limit or just quash it.

I'm NOT a remote uploader but I used to have a filesonic account and I have 250 GB of stuff there.
If I was able to remoting it I would save a lot of time, instead of downloading all and re-upping it on Oron, dont u think?

We have the written statement from the Filesonic management that they block actively the remote upload to ORON for their OWN partners.
And - as you may have noticed by filesonics declining webmaster numbers - ORON pays about 2.3 times more to their partner than filesonic due to the rebills that filesonic
just won't pay to their "partners" which is - of course - highly unfair.

    This is correct.
But if you need "fresh" 15GB within the 3 days very desperately you might contact the support once and kindly ask for it.

    Dear srv13,
the first step is to register your website or blog.
next you may ask the support to enable the PU function.
Please understand that we must be sure that ever partner only uses the PU
function for private issues - thus the own website - and not on public boards.

    Dear M10V7,

the FTP with filezilla f.e. works that way if you were talking about the functionality.
And to prevent the deletion of important files I would suggest you use the very easy "copy"
function inside your filemanager. That way you can somehow prevent that an unwilling or accidental
deletion of one of your own files forces you to upload it again since you still might have many copies
of that file in your folders.
