the site is simple yet functionable. all the features an uploader need are there. we dont need over hype site that full of bugs and unmanageable.

Hello folks, i am new to the ORON.COM Affiliate Program and would like to know what they mean with:

Sale is not yours ? Isn´t it automaticly "my" sale when it comes through my own site? I am a little bit confused by that.

 

if your site has many posters......

 

If the premium sale is made by:
your own files on your own website - you get 55% + web site sale 5 %.
other people's files on your website - they get their 55%, but you get the 5 % web site sale

Hmm looks like my friend can connect as well, either Oron has banned my mac-adress for unknown reason, or my isp has limited me from accessing the servers (illegal for them to do)

Very weird, never had issues before.

 

The Port for FTP (21) on that Host is closed. Just like that. Can´t connect either.

 

Hmm, but my friend said he got asked for "credentials" when he connected, i don't get that far.

Could it be a issue for some isp's? The odds of you and me being on the isp is close to zero though.

Is it just the ftp that is a problem, can you login to Oron website?

I have been an Oron member since May 2010. 1 year. therefore the account is current. So in theory, NO files should expire, right? Or is it??

Lately I have started to notice my files expire!
I don't not know how this happened or for how long this has been going on! I would've lost thousands of files discretely. I just happened to notice something odd when I clicked on the recycle button. I have searched but no similar experience in Google. Sent a message to Oron support

These are files that I have never shared the links to on any forum, so the is NO question about these files being reported.

The only thing I can think of is that I clicked the 'Publish' box for these files, as I noticed that the files I have uploaded from before September 22rd 2010 have expired, and that I have noticed that I have no more files marked as published! But from the 23th of September 2010 onwards, I have published files!

So obviously to confirm this I unmarked all my published files!

I wonder if this is true or not, but today also all files published from the 23rd September 2010 have expired!!! Note that I have unticked the published box in all my files now. I'm now worried that I would lose all these spare files. So once you click on publish, are you condeming your files for expiry?


PS I am very satisfied with Oron, It would be such a pity if files expire in current accounts. If this is a bug, can all my files be retrieved?

 

Yeah it´s just the FTP in trouble. Website Login works fine for me.

 

Most likely if you never shared the links with someone means that you have downloaded someone elses files and uploaded them to your account without changing the md5 code. The md5 signature will remain the same and to save space Oron just saves 1 unique file that have that md5 signature and that means if the file being reported for someone else it will get deleted from all accounts.
If you're aware of this and have changed the md5 signature before you uploaded it then I don't know why your files got deleted.

 

Isn´t that automaticly that files are beeing purched someday? I mean, they can´t store them forever if they are not in any activity???
