A standard thing I quite got used to when remote uploading. Every file uploads fine nevertheless, they're not "messed up", so you shouldn't worry. What happens:
the size in MB of the first file is taken as "100%", so if the rest uploading AFTER that file has twice as much MB - the bar will continue up to "300%". So if you upload 2 files - the first one has 100 MB and the second has 500 MB, the upload bar should go up to 600%.

A real problem of RU is: when uploading a lot of files in a row - IF the upload FAILS on the last uploading file (because of issues from the server which we are uploading) - NONE of the files get uploaded. Everything fails. Big problem. The moment one file gets uploaded (many files in a row) - it should appear DIRECTLY in our account and not AFTER the last file gets uploaded.

 

No, you do not have to do that!
You can share without it.
---> The "public" feature enables other Oron partners to copy and paste your files into their account.
That is useful if you want to spread your own produced music or promotional clips.
or if you want to share some file with many people to promote it for you.

Between you and me: I wonder why the feature still has such flaws.
I am not happy with it. We have "real time" download stats no other hoster can deliver but the RU does not work
perfectly -at least the "optical" feature has errors.
I do not like it at all.
It will be the very first thing tomorrow the programmers have to fix.
It DOES work - but the 600% bar is not good.

I second this. Not all of us can withdraw with paypal while alertpay works fine.
Please add alertpay. Don't all other filehosts have it? Is oron refused by them or something?

I never said that FTP doesnt work.
What I'm experiencing is that since 1 week I can't remote anything from filesonic. It keeps saying "initializing upload" and it remains like that.
Am I the only one having issues when remoting from filesonic ?

it used to work well though like 5 days ago.

 

my guess.. fsc banned oron ru to level the playing field. all other host worked except for hf of course.

 

Payments received within 6 hrs...Oron is the best, i use fsc,fsv,hf but i think oron is much better than them

I've just red whole thread, and would like to ask some things. First of all, I would like to say that I was on Hotfile affiliate for more then a year, and was very happy with it, until they deleted my account, and almost every bigger uploader's account as I know. I was earning about 300-400$/month with sharing porn. Since Hotfile is practically gone from business, and Pornbb banned Filesonic and Fileserve my only option was Oron. I'm using Oron for few days, and I see potential here. I'm contacted support for couple times and they answered me in less then 24h but, my last, and maybe most important question was not answered and that is concerned about statistic. Since I'm on PPD program I was watching statistic of downloaded files very carefully and this is the problem: when i sum the numbers of downloads beside every file in "my files" category i don't get the same number in my statistic and offcourse the number in my statistic is smaller then it should be. I've now for a fact that my friend has the same problem! and i still get no answer from support team, which i provide with accurate numbers. Does anybody here have the same problem?

it seems as if filesonic somehow blocked ORON from the remote transfer since they know, that they would lose numberless users due to the fact
that the earnings at ORON are about 2.5 times better with the rebills we fully pay.
I noticed the office numberless times about the blockage of filesonic but so far
we could not figure out how to bridge that blockage.

of course you do not need to run your own website.
ORON is for all users that want to share their files with the world.
You can share your links everywhere.
But remember to read the rules and the terms of Service.

You are allowed to own one ORON account.
So the remote upload from your second ORON account does not make any sense.

But if you want to transfer files from your friend to your own account you can ask your friend to set all his files on "public" so you can easily add them to your own account within one second.

First of all we have a very accurate calculation how much you will make with ORON when switching from hotfile.
---> You usually earn 4.5 to 5 times as much with ORON in comparison to hotfile after you transferred all of your files -but you have to switch to pay per sale.
Now for your question: how do you sum up your downloads? Based on what second statistic?
