i'm a free user before. so i thinks some of my files were deleted because they weren't been downloaded for a month.

I really think oron needs to reconsider this 15gb/3 days limit, and make it atleast 30gb/day and make a script that refills the quota every hour or day. I rarely download anything from oron but i tried it now with my oron premium account and i've been stuck at -250 mb for 2 days, that isn't something i would pay for.

Get your shit together oron, make a cronjob that counts the stats and updates them every hour if you want people to have to deal with this 15gb/3 days crap.

Don't get me wrong, i'm making sales, but i could make twice or tripple the amount of sales if there were no shady limits like this on your servers. And i hate to force my paying customers to suffer behind these really bad caps.

i agree even for free users 5gb/3day limit no good - 100 Mb per hour limit is enough to generate sales

 

coz if RUing from oron is allowed then cheats would just steal links from other ORON users that have worked hard to get their links distributed (totally unfair)...

I understand that if RU from Oron was possible , lot of people will just leech others, but if Oron want to really stand out among all these host, they really need some change, even for premium users, download is very limited, 15gb is nothing nowadays, a game or a HD video is about 5gb , whats the point on limiting their premium users ? this only will prevent people from buying premium, limiting free user is good but shouldnt be limit for premium.
And if they allow more RU from other host it would just have more Oron links and so Oron would just earn more, maybe not good for some affiliates but definitly good for the company.

I came from megaupload and Filesonic. Honestly, Its quite hard now to start with Oron as I would have to reupload every single file I had, plus I deleted some and would have to re download them and re up them. RU would just have help a lot and would be able to start making money.
With my up speed stuck at 40-50kbps wont be able to have enough files to make regular sales before 2 month. I spent 3-4 days to only upload 3 HD porn video....

Even if I didnt earned with filesonic, at least it allowed me to RU all my megaupload files and not much work to try a new host, now I see it doesnt work for me so I left but if need to spend few month uploading with oron for same result its just a waste of time.

 

nobody forcing you to use their service. it's your life. go with what you think better and less hassle for you.

Hey Oron, Is it possible to make a folder and set it up so search engines find it without posting it anywhere? That would be a nice feature for us who have our own sites but can't upload certain content because of DMCA, we can still put folders up on the web with the stuff in question but don't have to post it on our particular websites.

This makes oron better for many users, cause they will find the stuff they are looking for even though dmca might be rough on those things, also it's very easy to restore the folder if dmca removes it, just 1 click.

 

Would also like to ask if it would be possible for oron to code the ability to show "All" files in a folder, not cap it at max 500. Or if it would lag your servers to much at least get the cap up to 2000 files or something, makes it easier to batch backup large number of files.

That is one good idea and ORON once had that option. The problem was, that it took up to 3 minutes to load all data connected to the files. Because - as you may know - you have a very detailed statistic when you click on your file. So it was limited to 500. And although I am running 7,000 files it does not bother me much.

ave 100 is normal. anyone with good traffic can make at least 100 daily.

Qeustion: will I still get rebills if the files where they get premium account were deleted?

 

May I have a clear and specific official answer : Is XXX or Porn content allowed on Oron? Or anyone doing so would get his account terminated?
Please be clear in your reply as this is a paradox being faced by many willing-to-be Oron uploaders.

 

@asuspace - its allowed for sure as many links are available for porn on Oron.
