I don't understand the business model of sites like this. I have several sites and opening up more soon but at least I have a definitive plan on how to make that money. These sites are a mystery to me.

Your rating depends mostly on the quantity of your sales, you have to make more sales to improve your download level. The more sales you make the more money you get for your downloads. It is possible to earn up to $100 for 1000 free downloads if you make enough sales, and I know guys who have such rate.

Wonder if anyone could give what they feel is an ideal proportion of time dedicated to building 1.) Forum Threads, and 2.) Personal Blogs/Websites. As I see it, Forums offer 1.) a buffer between oneself and DMCA complaints, and 2.) Pre-existing traffic and SEO. The downsides are 1.) Exposure to copycats, 2.) exposure to the whims of mods, eg. banning, and 3.) Losing traffic volume as one's thread loses position.

Blogs give one more autonomy except, of course, if one runs afoul of the hosting/free blog provider. (I have been using Thumblogger and Sensualwriter for a couple of years, and my experience is that they NEVER SHUT DOWN ANYTHING, even blogs I started and never posted anything on! Even Blogspot, which used to shut down my blogs en masse for alleged 'spam', seems now to be letting even dead blogs live forever.)

I think the rewards of building personal sites might be more elusive, but more long-term. Repeat visitors will be clicking ONLY on your links. You can go whole-hog on the SEO and feel like you will reap ALL the rewards from it. If you do something sloppy, or otherwise break 'the rules' you don't get banned. I feel like once you fall below the first 20-30 threads in a forum, which on popular forums can be in about 10 minutes, your traffic falls off a cliff. It's nerve-wracking but additive to always try to be near the top of the queue. Any thoughts?

Another question about getting 5% on sales from other people's files on one's own website: It doesn't seem like much, at first, but when I think about how much time it takes to download and upload, I wonder if the speed at which I could cut and paste other people's links wouldn't be about 40 to 50 times faster than creating personal files the usual way.

I've noticed a couple of other sites where people have done this to my posts....just lifted them wholesale. Fine with me!

At least some of this endeavour is a hobby...I really LIKE porn. But there is some porn I dont care for. I would rather spend my time downloading and uploading for sale the porn I really like. For porn I don't necessarily care about, I though maybe I could create blogs with just other people's scraped posts with the 5% html code for Oron and all the others . Anybody else tried this?

I haven't tried this but my take would be to use a spider to index *.whatever host you look to make money from and auto post these links on a website.

If you use automation you can have a computer do all the work for you and index millions of links within a few hours and do zero work yourself, then 5% looks quiet good.

The issue would be to be able to index the related images as well, links without a presentation doesn't cut it, no one wants to download blindly.

Is there a problem in the oron database, sales are going down and down, yesterday just 2 sales, today not even over $20...
I earn $100+ daily... Or is that because of the new year/christmas?

I heard rumors that Oron got problems with credit card owners etc. and cannot sell accounts...

I though that is the way you had it before Oron Support, that you guaranteed a payout without 7 business day from the payment request. I am fine with that, usually i request my money on sundays (today) and get them on monday, or tuesday.
