was thinking about to switch when I saw that promotion $1000/10000 DL.. but I am sure my account level will be soon down to 2% so only $20 for 10000 DL even though I made a sale and a rebill today.. I heard one guy make 3~4 sales a day and still not 100% account level on Sepemter promotion..

if they calcurate our account level just like regular day or month .. 1 sale is enough to make 100% account level for all of us.. I know because I switch to Pay per download when I made sale on June and later again it was same stick with 100% for 2~3 days with just 1 sale or renewal and later down to 92% -> 82% -> 50%-> 5% sometimes faster but usually good for 2~3 days 100% and 2~3 days for at least higher than 5%

But when they did promotion on September?? account level down to 2%.. before about 2weeks no sales I still had 5% account level.. that's just ridiculous .. well just don't switch to PPD

 

CC payment gateway is working now but processor is different means - all old Ap n CC rebills gone

 

Sales finally picked back up and I've hit $76 today with an hour left on the clock. So hopefully the rest of the weekend goes the same way.

I won't be switching to PPD as it didn't work out for the last week of the September deal, even though I was making a few sales a day. Ended up losing $70+ with the switch to PPD due to not having my account level go higher than 32%.

 

In september I was one week on ppd and my account level was first day 100% than 66% -> 60 %> 50%> 45 %> 50% ... in the meantime I had few rebills and sales and I earned $10 more on ppd.

 

2 weeks ago I had my best week ever with Oron. Last week was the worst in 5 months, earnings dropped around 50% compared to previous week. And this week is even lower then that... I'm affiliated over a year, 30k+ files, ~1000 ref's, 2k downloads/day. Rebills dropped to almost none per day, I had a day with no rebills and earning ~$20
Yesterday I made a test.. bought 2 premium accounts from my own links, one clicked the link and bought the account, the other copy+paste link a couple of clicks on Oron website and then bought the account, both times with PayPal.. both sales showed up in my account instantly.
It looks like Oron is not cheating, just that they convert AWFUL.

So because of this technical error we will just lose all lot of our rebills and we will get no compensation for this and basically we have to start over from scratch? Am i understanding this correctly?

 

If you don´t wanna spend money for advertising you are free to focus on building traffic by doing good search engine optimization, however this requires you to run your own site, blog, forum or whatever and SEO = needs time. but once you rank traffic comming from serps on the right keyword should convert good.

 

oh well I doubt they will admit it but more likely it will happend. When there has been the Paypal issue they said that no rebill has been lost but the truth, in my opinion, is another one. I just wonder if other filehosters too have so many problems with paypal, cc processors etc. like Oron.
When I was working with filesonic they were giving affiliates a compensation when there were problems with stats or bugs. I wish Oron would do the same.
I joined Oron because of the rebills. If everytime there is an issue all the rebills get lost, there is no difference between Oron and any other filehost with a Pay per sale revenue program...

Why not just let us advertise some url in landing page of our files. At least we could add the url to file description and Oron could show it on file download page. Instead of just file name and size.
That way uploaders would get free advertising and wouldn't break rules of other sites they are posting on.

 

Anyone having problems with FTP, i don´t get files showed transfered on ftp...at least not the 2 Gbyte File i was uploading through...maybe to big?

 

They don't give a shit, period.

It's clear we lost rebills or something happened. Is oron putting this into play every month blaming random company issues and make us "loose" rebills and the rebills just magically appear 100% in their own account?

Not sure what's going on but it's shady.

Doesn't matter what you mail them, they will copy paste an standard reply like they don't even know english. They hired some guy to make up a few exuses in english so they can randomly copy-paste from these answers to us non-russian users.

Today i've had over 3000 downloads and made a whopping 20$, lol.

Oh well, i guess with time my rebills will rebuilt (AGAIN) and i will have income, it just sucks that they poop on their affiliates faces and we can't do anything about it, if we all could just leave instantly they would be ruined but that's not going to happen.

No issues here, maybe your filename was having adult content in it and the entire filename was deleted or something.

You do know that all files with "Sex" "Porn" "xxx" etc are removed when uploaded right? If you upload a file called "Sexygirl.avi" it will come up as "girl.avi" i wonder what happens if you upload a file called "sexy.avi" that will probably mess up their system and make the file completely invisible to the interface.

 

thanks, i didn´t know that yet but however file wasn´t name to something like this... maybe 2,15 GB was to large for FTP ?

 

honestly I would remove AlertPay service for processing credit cards as its not stable most of the time, sales and rebills dropping like shit for affiliates, that sucks!

 

It's possible that 2.15 gb is to large, but i think i'ev managed to upload bigger files even though the limit is 2048mb.
