Introducing myself... I'm afraid none of these work!

After two days lurking around these forums I decided to introduce myself, but if it's true that first impressions count for a lot and there is no second chance to make a first impression I don't know how if you don't help me to accomplish this.

According to wikiHow, best thing I should do is look people straight in the eyes, but how?, is there a web cam around here?

OK second point, smile because this is the best icebreaker; can't you see I'm already smiling ?

Point number three, handshake to demonstrate my self confidence; please all DP members in a row to handshaking you, just tell me how because my hand refuses to trespass my monitor's screen.

Following point, say your name and immediately ask for theirs; well my name is Verona but you can't hear me, only read me as I will read your names.

Repeat their name while saying "it's a pleasure to meet you John" or "nice to meet you Jane."

Oops, this might take hours and I'm leaving to work so hope you help me out with this puzzle after getting back home with my napkin nearby to avoid shaking with a sweaty hand, as the wiki recommends!
