Introducing myself - both a newbie and experienced at the same time

Hey there people,

Just wanted to introduce myself. Been doing some research on this whole affiliate/online marketing thing and ended up on this forum several times. So I decided to register, cause I like it a lot!

I do promotion and marketing for a living where I work, but of course, there is a huge budget for marketing and it's a lot easier than doing it with your own finances. I can't really buy ads at MySpace for $500,000 myself...yet.

So I have experience in marketing, and since I started researching making money online for myself a couple of months ago, I have become very interested, because I see some people are doing very very well with it. Heck, they even work less hours than me and make triple or quadruple what I make.

I haven't started any web site yet, trying to figure out a couple of niches, so I guess any advice would be highly appreciated.
