intro and advise

HI to all. I created this account several weeks ago but has become active since the last week. I am Omer from Pakistan. I dont know ABC of the web development and used to hate learning about computers.but it has been a year or so this web thing attracting me alot and I want to learn it. is that possible I can learn some basics for running my websites which I developed from some one else? Right now do not know how to connect database to servers and where to upload files and nothing like that, will I still be able to run this business? Please advise and if yes where to start.
