(why I'm posting this) I know I lot of people here have day jobs and/successful business knowledge worth sharing so... the rest of this is copy/paste I am part of a team of summer students working on a site called the YouthPortal.ca essentially it will be a resource site for youth. Two of the aspects of the site (among any others, but these are the ones where most people can help) will be: 1) Having experts in their respective fields write articles on a relevant topic to youth. You could pick a topic, or tell us what you know and we'll figure out what's best. (examples, youth business tips, relationships, personal finance, employment law safety, education choices). We are quite confident that everyone has some bit of information that they can share with the youth of today. 2) Interviews (in person, IM, E-mail, or phone) on different people and their jobs, a lot of focus will be how you got there (to your career), things like education, experience, what made you peruse that job, as well as what exactly is the job, and if were to redo it all, how would you get the same place differently (were some stepping stones along the way not really needed?) This is all well and great for us, but what do you get? Well, you get a byline, which includes a quick who you are, and your email (if you want) + a link to your/co. website at the bottom. So yeah it's partly a favor but we provide some value back from a site that will be promoted to youth, is gov't of Canada funded and run by a not-for-profit (vcn.bc.ca). So thanks for reading through and I look forward to hearing back. please respond to Thanks, Steve
