I'm thinking of expanding on my music uploading website. I've already got a eBay powered shop, a unsigned artist and bands section and a newly added lyrics section. However I am wanting to go more "unique" and have interviews with music artists (Obviously I probably won't get to meet the big stars! However smaller ones are just as good!). I was just wondering how would I go about it? Also because I am an individual and run the site as a hobby would I be declined? (Considering I am not a "known company")
Contact them through their Myspace or official website and simply ask for a quick email interview (send them questions via email). Explain you reach so many people per month and the interview will be picked up by other sites (do recaps for other music sites of the interview) I do this in my niche all the time. 3 year from now you have a great protfolio of interviews.
