Why I classify PayPerPost as an affiliate?
Because you are getting paid for referring users to another website by making a blog post

I couldn't find another close enough forum to post this in lol :D

Anyway I had the honor of sending a couple of questions to the PayPerPost CEO Ted Murphy. The questions were pretty simple and straightforward and he answered em last month I think (but I remembered an hour ago). So I dug up that E-Mail and edited the interview. The original interview can be found here, but if you're too lazy to click the link here are the questions and answers:
Hopefully it was a decent interview and would bring in some new bloggers to PayPerPost!

This is interesting CPA model. I only don't like limited payment options. They should add some others (maybe not free). Also 30 days is short period for links being listed - they should set them somehow like 6 months or lifetime of website. :)

    but in general - interesting.

Great concept, had a look at some of the current offers and you could make quite a bit of money. There are some offers for $10 with a minimum words count of 100. You could write 1000 words a week and make $100.

Yeah you can, but you don't want to get too carried away :p it would drive visitors away from your blog otherwise - try doing it once every 10 normal posts like me :) and then make a normal post right after you put up the paid post

I signed up as an advertiser and set up a project for bloggers to blog about my hoodia info site at http://www.hoodiahelper.com.

I just did a small test of 10 posts at $5 In 3 days all of my posts were filled. All blogs had 0 PR as far as I could tell.

I plan on waiting a few weeks to see what happens and I'll update this thread.

I don't think they base anything off of PageRank actually - which is a shame because higher PR/Traffic blogs should get more payment, I mean a blog post at TechCrunch would definitely cost more than a blog post at my blog! :p

But they are tracking the stats and require that you put in a tracking image in your posts (which isn't visible) herbalclicks do you get to see traffic stats or is that something PayPerPost might be doing to offer a higher payout?
