Hello, I'm planning on advertising my site a little more. It really does help! =) But I was wondering, anyone know where I can buy interstatials besides AdBrite? Thanks. ;)

    not as a advertiser.
paypop is owned by yesup.yesup also owns clicksor.
one of the worst companys for a publisher.

I'm really starting to get into these interstatials. They're really neat.

    I guess it all depends.

I bought an interstatial ad from adbrite (luckily I set the daily budget low - 10$ :) ). the budget was burnt in less than an hour and I received 2500 conversions from it.

Well, that is all I can say about this - no conversions, three clicks on ads...

Did you or didn't you receive conversions? lol

I used interestials recently and had very mediocre success. I think it all depends on the site that you are pulling them from and what relates to your site's niche. In addition, I set my budget well below what the site could provide, yet it appeared that Adbrite spread out the views throughout the day, instead of all at once, as what was suggested here.

I think they work better for branding or for very 'general audience' websites like a YouTube that can appeal to anyone.

Sorry, I was using the AdBrite terminology - conversion is a click that gets to your site and is registered by the AdBrite tracking code.

I did not get any real conversions (sales, clicks on ads, etc)

Oh, I see, I forgot about Adbrite referring to traffic sent as a conversion. As mentioned, I had mediocre results. However, I do think I can do much better by tweaking my landing page.

How many visitors did you receive? I was getting visitors for .01 and bought $20 worth just to see how it went.

    that would be a view.;)
if you put the tracking code on the same page you set in adbrite, you would get 100% conversion.:p

    :D You are correct. BUT:

    Look at this:
(taken directly from my adbrite account)

Days Total Clicks Impr. CTR Conv. CPA Avg CPC Amortized Cost
    30 2 160,928 0.001% 0 0 $0.45 $0.91

As you can see there were two clicks (out of 160,928) impressions :D that resulted in 0 (ZERO) conversions....
