Interpreting AdSense Income Reports?

I've been an Adsense publisher for most of this year but just recently started looking at the Adsense Income reports in earnest. I must say they dont make any sense to me and I'm sure its because I'm not interpreting them properly. For example on the AdSense "Channel Report'
(I'll insert arbitrary figures here for the sake of this example):

Let us say the total AdSense income for today was $10.00. When I look at the itemized listing of clicks and income generted per url channel I get something like the following:

(URL Channel for home page): xx-clicks total= $4.50
    (URL Channel #02): xx-clicks total= $3.50
    (URL Channel #03): xx-clicks total= $2.50
    (URL Channel #04): xx-clicks total= $2.50

So if I were to add the channels up in this example the total revenue comes to $13.00 yet the income total posted on the page in the "big green numbers" is $10.00...
Does not compute... Any suggestions on what I'm reading inaccurately or not seeing in these reports please..?
