Interpreting AdSense Income Reports

I've got a question for anyone who can help me interpret my AdSense Income report. AdSense Publishers have all seen the familiar header on the AdSense Income reports
(i.e: Page impressions Clicks Page CTR Page eCPM [?] Earnings)

Of course I have noticed a great variance in my income from AdSense from day to day. I presume this is true for all AdSense publishers but I'm perplexed about the Page eCPM [?] $ amounts I see in the reports. This morning I noticed one of my channels reporting a Page eCPM [?] amount of over $150.00 for a single click and my earnings seem to be about 1% of this amount. I did read the eCPM section but it did not resolve my inquiry.
Can anyone tell me what this means please..?

Did AdSense make some $150.00 on a click thru and cut me on on 1% of this amount...?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I know about eCPM is that it's the amount you'll earn per 1000 impressions provided the clickthrough rate remains at that rate.

    Momo...

Well OK.. that makes sense and if thats the case you would expect to make more on higher eCPM click thrus yes..? Would this not mean that an eCPM that is 10X's higher would generate 10X's the payout amount for the AdSense Publisher too..?
