I am using a shared connection of 5mb. quite satisfied though there occurs some downtime as well but in such case i switch to my GPRS connection which connects at only 115.2kbps but helps much in hour of need

Well, thanks to COMCAST my internet bandwidth is capped anyway, so whats the matter of the speed?

thanks to my UNIVERSITY though! theres no internet bandwidth (1 TB transferred in the last 4 weeks! :D)
    16mbit download/13mbit up

also, seems dedicated, not shared, as i'm able to easily up/download at max speeds throughout whole day.

Had 8mb, downgraded to 2mb as I don't download as much as before. I'm connected thru the cable TV network, and they're quite solid at delivering what you pay for. When I checked my connection before I had slightly above 8 downstream and 1.25 upstream (supposed to be 8/1).

Wow! people still use 64k and 128k.... thought they where a thing of the past :O

Not having a dig, just I would feel so held back with them kinds of speeds :(

We need a time machine = 10TBPS connections :D oh yeaa
