Hi, Recently i decided that after 2 years of full time working i really should be going back to school. my heart is with internet marketing i trully have a great passion for it. now my problem is that i live in holland and that there isnt such a study in the whole country. (atleast not a full time study similiar to a associate's degree in the states) does anyone knows of such an study (full time, minimum 1 to 2 years)? and preferbably english speaking countries. i hope anyone can help me
I share your same passion. But there is no IM course offered in university or college right now. Except this one I saw in San Fran, but seriously, just read up!
there are good schools in France you are looking for what level and your budget? for exemple: inseec-france.com www.cefam.fr www.esc-toulouse.fr/fr/p609_135/.html
You'd be better off doing some computer science courses - learn some progrmming languages, learn how to build websites inside out and upside down - so-called 'marketers' who have picked up the soft stuff are ten a penny - combine an interest in online marketing wth solid gold technical knowledge and you'll have agencies all over Europe killing kittens to get to you.
I second magda. I would go with a computer science degree with an emphasis on programming. There should be some web development degrees out there. Those will be a huge asset in internet marketing. There are a ton of jack of all trades, but very few people who are internet marketers and specialized to that degree.
Thanks for all the reply's! But the thing is; i dropped out of school when i was 16 and started working full time from that point, now im nearly 21 i have regrets and know i should get a diploma. so combining my hobby with a education would be perfect. anyway, maybe its not that time yet.
You could do Bussiness & IT in twente, i doing that currently. I isnt exactly about im, but it combines IT subjects, en bedrijfskunde
You seem to focus on getting a diploma, when you should emphasize your 'know how'. I mean you can make a decent living (at least) from internet marketing without gratuating a school...
I think it doesn't matter whether you can get a certificate. The only thing is to make sure you can master what you want to learn. So if there is no such a resource for you study at school again, you'd better purchase some online course to study. It also works. As to the scope, maybe you should be more clear.Internet is too big.
This university is in Florida and offers an internet marketing degree. I was told they are one of the few. The school is typically a design/development trade school that just opened their internet marketing program recently. fullsail.edu/online/degrees/internet-marketing hope this helps
