Internet Marketing: Is it better to LEARN or to HIRE ?

I think that a combination of LEARN and HIRE is the way to go. You should learn enough so that when you do hire you can check the work done by the people you hire and personalize it if need be.

I would say that you should outsource as much as you can. It is good to learn all the stuff yourself but once your business grows it becomes necessary for you to outsource and if you don't outsource then it can take you months to do a project that could have easily been finished in days.

I say if you can afford it you should outsource!

 

Well, it's better to learn yourself. In the long run, it'll be cheaper and you'll enjoy yourselves.

Once your business has grown to a level that you can afford to outsource, outsource it!

 

The general consensus seems to be 'why not learn if you have the time'. If you're going for that option I'd say it would be a great idea to get someone to show you the ropes, as there is a heck of alot of stuff out there.

 

It is dependent on yours.If you have time then you learn and do marketing for your site slowly.Otherwise hire an internet marketing professional to do marketing for your site.

 

It is always advised to start with Article Marketing b/c it is the cheapest. I think that it is best you learn the strategies before you hire anyone.

This is what I have seen a lot of people do. They learn SEO and article marketing ( the two go hand in hand). After they learn it inside and out, they then hire people to write articles for them while they learn PPC. That way they can have their articles written for them and free up some time to devote to learning PPC.

 

Learn what works best for you, and then outsource the grunt work.

 

I'd agree, time is the key. Don't spend money, make money by learning from free sites and no buying eBooks!

 

I agree somewhat on this. I started marketing back in 2007. I learned a lot for free. However, there were just a few pieces of the puzzle that was missing. I bought A LOT of Ebooks, some were crap and some were actually beneficial.

I joined a membership site later down the road that cleared up some questions I had and helped me put the pieces together. Of course, this isn't necessary, but it can help if find a good ebook or affiliate marketing membership site that is good.

It seems as though some people fall into the trap that they keep buying ebooks. Once you learn the basics of SEO and article marketing, you are pretty much on your way. You just have to take action and STOP buying ebooks. There is always another "Guru" that comes along that promises to let you in on yet ANOTHER secret that hasn't been exposed...

Learning is always better, you can make a loooooooot of saving doing things by yourself. Our experience showed for example that our members are doing a quiet good job in a very very short time. When you have an expert teaching you, you go directly to the essential and not for useless things. Besides expert charge a more than needed, and even if you have to hire someone you have to be conscious of the state of the art of internet marketing to know how to negociate.

I think it depends on your money and time.

It´s a good thing to know the basics of the most important skills needed as online marketer. So you will be able to know what to expect when you outsource something! You need to know what you want if you want to order something.

 

Always best to learn on your own, of course there will be many saying HIRE simply because that is what they do for a living and if everyone knew their skills they will simply have to focus on their own sites. It pays a pretty penny to market others warez especially when you have a few clients.

Doing it yourself allows you to reduce that "marketing bill" and fully understand how and why everything works the way it does.

I do however suppose that IF you are currently successful and looking to do next to nothing than simply add the costs for the marketers and seo guys and figure your net after costs and if you are happy with that number just keep that system working.

 

What are the best way to learn though ? I am newbie and web sword and here is what I found : Article marketing can be effective requires a lot of time . PPC are expensiveThere maybe a short cut but I am yet to know. What are some of the other to promote ?
