Hey everyone, Just thought I'd give this out to the beginners So here are a few things I've (un)learned to earn quite a nice bit in a relatively short time... I don't know about you but I stumbled across internet marketing eventually after many fruitless on google revolving around ''how to make money online fast''. And unfortunately this train of thought filtered into my IM ambitions, I yearned to take shortcuts... either by feeder sites or direct linking which never worked (for me) Internet marketing is not about making a quick $200 duly followed by a lot of $0's. It's about BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE ONLINE BUSINESS. And for me what's really worked is transferring the principles of CUSTOMER SUPPORT, VALUABLE CONTENT, WITH LEGIT& HELPFUL OFFERS to people who are STARVING FOR A SOLUTION. Need an example? I'm in the weight loss market and my best performing sub niche is for men who want to lose man boobs. How motivated do you think these people are to find a solution???? So.... "At Last Discover The Secrets Behind Saying Goodbye To Those Revolting Man Boobs" (not my headline) Offer them a friggin report where you OVER-DELIVER. If you give your subscribers AMAZING STUFF for FREE they are actually less likely to ACT ON IT....they'll just appreciate it. Then start telling parables about how you (or a friend) lost their man boobs, build suspense, then hit them with an offer that WILL solve their problem(s). Create a little bonus to sweeten the deal and because of this perceived value they will thus buy from you (even though to them it'll be like getting a recommendation from a friend). Need to generate traffic? Write a few articles and get them into the most viewed section at ezinearticles because of the MASSIVE RELEVANT TRAFFIC (I've found a way that SOOO's simple to do, takes 5 minutes and is FREE but...PM and we can talk) Use the content network+google search(depending on cpc and predicted ROI) Do Joint Ventures with fellow list builders Forum marketing, Yahoo Answers are also nice SECONDARY sources of relevant traffic but hey we want as much of this to be automated as possible after all that's why we got online in the first place. Hope this helps gang out
I still say it all boils down to EFFORT. Many theories out there but putting them into practice takes time and a lot of work. I must admit, when I think of link building or a number of other SEO functions, a big sigh goes through my body. It has to be done if you want to stay competitive.
Thanks for the help. I just started an MLM program that offers a great service and has helped me do something I've wanted to do for a while now (build my own website). I appreciate the service it provides, but have had no luck getting others interested. It doesn't help that I haven't had the slightest clue how to market it, so really haven't put in a whole lot of effort. I will try your advise. Thanks!
