internet links and external links in sitemap

    Hello Guys,

    pls advise me regards internal links and external links in google sitemap.


    i've created my new site's sitemap but i cann't see internal and external links in Google sitemap.

    Pls can u tell me, how long will take time to generate int. and ext. links in google sitemap.

    You should only have internal links in Google XML sitemaps, not external.

    Some sitemap generators, e.g. my sitemap generator, allows you to view your links to externals sites as well. However, the created XML sitemaps always only contain references to pages within your own website.

    You ask how long time it should take: That depends on your website size. For most sitemap generator programs, you will have to scan your website first. That can take some time (seconds, hours, whatever) depending on your website. After that is done, creating the XML sitemap takes seconds.

    A Google XML sitemap is for internal links only. Use the A1 Sitemap Generator or the GSiteCrawler. Both are good and work.
