When Dolly Parton sang her ever well-known song ‘working 9 to 5’, she meant what she said. We surely did not crave for a life where the every day agendas became based on alarms, deadlines, meetings, stress and objectives to meet and complete.

Wouldn’t it be just perfect to wake up to the auditory sensations of the birds singing, eat a healthy meal and work when you preferred to?

Work at home and all this could be yours!

A work at home schedule will allow you to take life with a pinch of salt so that you can gulp slow and digest your food better and live a health stress free life

However, you also need to be aware about the negative side of an Internet home business.

Let’s first look at the down side of working at home

    1) The most critical is the lack of job security
    2) Will you actually get paid
    3) You are isolated (without your work friends)
    4) Your success relies on how hard you work

Now the good things you get when you work at home.

    1) When you work at home, you get to do your work at your own pace of time.
    2) You may be able to take a rest whenever you feel like it.
    3) You’d actually hear the birds chirping instead of going all berserk over that alarm clock.
    4) Reduced stress levels - not working for a boss - you are the boss

If you are a person that can be self disciplined don't mind working 12 and 16 hours when you have to get the ball rolling.- Then working from home is for you.

Once that ball starts to roll you can reap the rewards of your success.:D

yea working at home is a high risk but high return business to get into. I'm sure the majority of the people on Digital point work at home or want to eventually work at home so this could be some inspiration for some of us!

It's a tough situation to be honest.

When I worked in industry at an office 9-6 as a designer, I loved the atmosphere, but I also preferred those occasional days where I get to don my PJ's and work from home. Now I work full time from home
as a freelance designer there's nothing I'd love more than to work in an office environment a few days a week to break the cycle.

I think working from a office keeps you active and fresh
If you just need to work from home than there is no motivation to shave, change clothes, have shower early in morning etc
