I receive a reply occasionally, but they really aren't worth my while anymore. Not only are they all usually inactive, the ones that ARE active are full of knobs fighting and going off track, and it's pointless.

One forum I go on even removed the off topic section, because nobody posted in it. But that just goes to show that most people have left forums behind for X, and so on.

How I Slowly Moved from Forums to Social Media Without Even Noticing

I remember those days too! A few years back, I used to spend hours on forums. There was more free time, I was home more often, and the idea of discussing topics with people from all over the world was just amazing. Whether it was business, hobbies, or just random chats—forums had it all.

But then, without even realizing it, I slowly transitioned to social media. It had everything—interest groups, tags, discussions—just in a more compact and convenient way. No need to search for different forums for different topics when everything is right there in one place.

I still miss the old-school forum vibe sometimes, but social media definitely made things easier.
