Internet for my laptop, anytime, anyplace ??

With all the work I've been doing online, it would be nice to have a way to dialup the internet from wherever I happen to be.

I don't know whether I would need a satellite modem or what, but can any of you other webmasters point me in the right direction?

Price is a factor, $50 a month is too high for me.

i saw that Verizon has a plan, but starts at 60.00 !! with a 2 year contract. TOO MUCH.

 

Hmm well services cost if you can't afort don't search for it ...

 

Another alternative would be to buy a loudspeaker and learn how to reproduce modem noises and then read them... All you have to do then is to find volunteers around the world willing to work as a router for you.

 

I would suggest you to buy a wireless lancard then. and put your laptop near to starbucks or such big shops. you will get free internet anytime and many places. XD (this is only if you are living in US or other big country with public wireless network)

I guess $60 / month is too much for all of us.
