Internet Explorer Won't Load CJ Login Page?

Been trying to login for a few days now but I can't...either get a 'cannot display webpage' or it redirects me to 'search results' for commission junction...i have searched the web for an answer and done everything from pinging to microsoft troubleshooting to dns setup to no avail...however, I can get to the login page by using a proxy server such as YouHide etc... but when I try to contact CJ when logged(in my account) in it displays 'cannot display webpage' again! Has anyone experienced this? If so, can you help? This is very frustrating!! Does CJ have a tech support line? I have to get this resolved sooooonnnn!!! Im losing my mind...

Ermm... why not use Firefox, Safari, or Opera?

If IE doesn't work, it's because IE doesn't work. :p

Welcome to DP by the way :)

@al820 - look into 'what is affiliate marketing' and you will find out how CJ works...not being rude just dont have enough time to go into detail right now...besides that question isn't relevant to this thread...I'm trying to get some technical insight on this one...lol

    good luck though.

mhaynes6: do you think the problem could be with your ISP? Have you tried to contact them?

al820: CJ is one of the largest, and most reliable affiliate networks available. There are many folks who make boatloads of money via CJ, but like anything in life, you get out what you put in. I would advise you go to their website and do a bit of research. You won't be sorry.

and no, it doesn't cost anything to join.

That's a strange problem! Never heard that one before. It must be your ISP. Can't think of anything else.

    1. What error do you get from your browser?
    2. Can you access other web pages fine?

    Thanks

When you ping, did it at least resolve a IP (216.34.209.9)? I don't think they accept ICMP ping, since I get the same timeout when I try... but that's normal.

Seems like it's something with filtering software for sure. I doubt it's the ISP, but with your computer. Can you test with a laptop or another computer? If you still have trouble with another computer, that would narrow it back down to your internal network.. or the ISP. If you can hit the site with another computer, that would indicate that it's the computer.

I would also see if you can explicitly 'whitelist' CJ in whatever virus/spyware program you have.. to see if that might shake something loose.

hey guys, if you are using IE browser, try to check the default settings in the IE options, set into the medium.. if isn't work try to reinstall you browser or scan you PC from spyware that maybe cause the errors....
