I don't really care what people use as long as they stay away from IE because it is the devil.

Absolutely false! While there are differences here and there, only IE stumbles in this area.

May be you are the best to judge it.

BTW, if you have used topstyle, it has a setting to analyse the css stylesheet for different browsers. Try analysing the stylesheet with different settings and it will give you different problems for different browsers and even versions.

Absolutely false! There are no issues that you would be aware of as a normal user. Firefox stores pages in cache to give you the fastest access possible, and does a better job of it than IE. It uses available memory because it's available! That's why you bought 4Gb of ram so applications can use it! If it wasn't available for use, what' the purpose? (Not that FF uses 4Gb)

Firefox may show more ram usage than IE because IE is embedded in the OS and those parts are not shown in its usage. If it did, you would find IE uses an equivalent amount of ram as Firefox uses.

Memory leak issues that you would be aware of went away with FF version 2.0! Any other issues were caused by 3rd party add-ons. If you are having hanging problems, check the web pages of your add-ons to see if THEY are having issues.

If you want to restrict ram usage, and therefore restrict Firefox, there are settings in about:config to do that.
