lol amazing how people turn a serious topic into fun! anyway, silveraden, if the templates are working fine with firefox and opera, you will do just fine. But if you are not satisfied, my advice will be to look for a template that works with every 3 of them. just my 2 cents...
Please stick with the topic, be civil. silveraden, you can avoid this hassle by first checking the browsers on which the templates have been tested. Many webmasters create template using Firefox, as they find it more handy. So before installing a template you should double check to make sure that it was tested on IE, afterall, IE is still the world's #1 browser.
On my PC, IE freezes a lot, sometimes goes white except for the top title blue bar. It is not possible for me to even use it to see if my code renders properly in IE. So what I do I use Maxthon basic version(with no unnecessary eye-candy) that uses the same IE engine. Maxthon does not hang, freeze or go white like IE. This is the way I keep myself from breaking my head over IE.
I am fed up of listenning that IE sucks as this is a common news plz stop discussing more on it its just sucks as IE sucks and i use mozilla firefox the only problem is that it sometimes gets hanged but except this firefox rocks !!!
I don't think he actually meant quality wise. As much as I hate IE, the truth is IE is the most used browser, mainly because when you buy a computer pre loaded with windows, IE is the default browser that comes with the OS.
IE does suck in some ways, but be fair as it does have its strongholds, like Firefox does not support alt tags, and seems that Firefox refuses to work with data importing with a server. Otherwise, use FF or Opera for general web browsing.
I agree, it sucks horribly http://blogpantsu.org/2008/battle-of-the-browsers/ just forget about how it looks in IE, Ie should die, haha.
There are many reason why IE sucks and this thread is about template. If you are tired then have rest... Anyway, most themes are compatible with firefox I think because webmasters and programmers don't use ie anymore...
These people are not web developers, these people are more commonly referred to as idiots (people who develop and don't test in IE).
