Hello Guys, I am using firefox and after I have designed my webpage; I have seen some errors on my webpage when I use Internet Explorer... but no errors on Firefox ! Did someone solved problems like this ? Can you help me ? My webpage is http://www.cangalaxy.com Thank You
You cannot hope to have x-browser compatibility without a complete and proper DTD. IE, especially, does not follow the rules. See http://www.communitymx.com/content/article.cfm?cid=85fee for an explanation. cheers, gary
I have visited the above link and read about Document Type Declaration. There are some support files available for download at the bottom of the page. It seems way too technical and I am unclear how to proceed to use this information to resolve my problem: My site displays correctly only in Firefox. In all the other browsers, it appears jumbled in one way or the other. The worst mess is shown in IE. And when I check the code validation of my site, it shows 56 errors and 38 warnings. My lack of relevant knowledge bars me from understanding the situation adequately. I need help in how to correct all these errors. Is there a software which would do it for me? The goal is to have my site displayed correctly in all the main browsers. And I wonder why after all only Firefox is managing to display my site correctly while all other browsers are unable to handle it the right way?
