Opera does all of that and even has your email in the same application. one of the best browsers in my opinion.

IE8 will be just like IE7, unoriginal and not nearly as upgradable as Firefox. Firefox's add-ons make the browser, and I have found that FF takes up less memory than IE7 and opens web pages faster (I did a test on all of my friends machines, and Firefox was noticeably faster on almost every page.

...IE comes out with a "new" version.... maybe they'll be able to get a version to work right before they release it this time.... I hate IE, it is full of bugs and closes almost every single time I use it - its so f-ing frustrating to use! FIREFOX all the way!!!! WOO! lol.

By the time IE8 releases, the market share between IE and FF will be around 50%-50% or 60%-40%. One more year away??

    Firefox!!!

I would imagine it wont be far off as a year to date firefox has grown over 7% , take that figure and the fact that it's been advertised more this year and more people are taking too it, i wouldnt mind betting it will see at least another 5-7% on this year which would put firefox on around 47 - 55 % market share on IE.

What will make the difference ? i reckon it will be when that 34 % of IE 6 users have to decide what to do make a brave leap to FF or IE7 that will be the turn.

The only reason IE is so popular is because it comes with Windows. If IE had to be downloaded nobody would download it. No wonder the EU fined them a lot of money. Can anybody say unfair monopoly.

I remembers the good old days of 1995/1996/1997 IE3 vs Netscape 3 and where Netscape had more Market Share at that time.

I really dislike the firefox attachments for some reason. Maybe I don't use them often enough.

    I use Opera.

I only use Firefox to see how my pages will look when I am designing. When I browse, I use IE.
