Internet Explorer 8 - better than Mozilla Firefox?

What you think about Microsoft's new Internet Explorer 8. Is it better than the "fire fox"? I saw in the official web site that it has some good features.
I think to download it and to try it right now.
    What is your opinion?

Whether it's version 8 or version 80, I don't interested anymore with IE. Firefox still the winner in my heart.

I use both. However, if I am not wrong, IE8 will work on Vista only.

IE8 will continue the legacy of being the worst browser on the planet. 11 years behind web standards and unable to operate with current modern methods that every other browser handles with grace, including XHTML served as XHTML, SVG, the DOM, proper javascript, MathML, CSS3 and more, including being the most vulnerable to trojans and virii.

i love FF and will never change, but it has its down site, a few sites i own my name is admin, every time i type the password in to one of the 4 sites as my name admin, it changes the hole 4 sites to the one i just typed in lol, so i go to log into the next site and my password is wrong :D so basically i now use the same pass for all 4, anyway, there maybe away around it, i just havent found it yet. IE speed sucks and most forums i go to an image is missing here and there.

I have been using FireFox since my childhood and it has all come up to my professional life now. So,we cant switch ot IE or whatever it is.

But I want to say something good about IE8. :)
Microsoft has developed a real good browser this time, with all the bug fixes. This time, you are not going to face any such IE errors for your developed products or websites like it happened in IE6 and IE7.

Even, the browser seems to very very light weight and stable. They have improved it for sure.
There are still some sites, which dont work on Firefox ,but it works on IE. So,dont underestimate IE man.. :D

Im using Firefox 3.0.6 , IE8 , Chrome. Nice package and Chrome is the best among 3 of them. Frefox is good for my business ,but Chrome is the best for normal purpose...
    Google ROCKS!!

I love IE8 - once it is in final release, I'll be switching over.

I've tried IE8 since beta 1, and it rocks!
