Internet Explorer 8 better than Firefox and Safari

    Hi,
Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), the latest web browser from Microsoft, comes with a lot of good news.

In recent years alternate browsers such as Apple's Safari and Mozilla's Firefox have become increasingly popular, in part due to following internet standards in how pages are displayed - subtle differences between browsers can sometimes make pages look different on IE than in Firefox, for example.

This is no longer the case - the part of IE8 that displays a page has been completely re-written to be standards compliant, much like Safari and Firefox.:)

i think this is a plus that will make IE8 better than the other browser, which is great for this world famous browser.

    F.L.

People don't stop using IE because it breaks websites. As least, that's not why I stopped using it.

Firefox is better than IE for your information.. .IE has a lot of bugs compared to Firefox...

Firefox is friendlier browser than IE.. I received many errors when using IE...

FYI: I'm a previous IE user so I know. I switched to Firefox when I receive error messages from IE... I'm using firefox now... It helps me a lot...

IE 8 is in BETA testing. I wouldn't install it on my main PC but will use it when it's in Final Release as I haven't had any problems with previous versions of IE.

It's about time. I still prefer Firefox, but any good webmaster should have both installed anyway. Even if MS says that IE8 is standards compliant (which I take with a grain of salt), there's no telling what other ways they will find to completely bone the CSS/JS on your website.

IE8 is fast. Has great tools for developers but is still buggy in this beta. I had to remove it. And the removal is not so trivial in Vista.

I will stick to FF until more conclusive findings that say that IE is better. Reason I switch to FF in the first place is because last time when I was using IE, on many occasions the browser will just hang. That was even before IE 7 was released. Hope to see they improve it this time.
