Just have upgraded to Internet Explorer 8 on Windows Vista. I was hopping that Microsoft would improve internet explorer where it would be not as clunky. Lost hopes. Explorer 8 is a complete F**ING pollution. I cannot even use it anymore. On Dual core 2.2 GHz with 4GB of ram it runs a lot slower than explorer 7 to a point where it is unbearable to use. What a waste.... Compare the loading speed of Google Chrome the internet explorer is a joke. Not to mention that internet explorer uses a lot more of resources. Is Microsoft playing a joke to see how many people the can get pissed of. I can understand that they are not making money on the internet explorer directly but common. Either do it some what right or just don't do it at all.

I upgraded to IE 8 and its just as fast as the other browsers and takes nowhere near the same amount of resources as the other browsers do. I mainly use FF for a web browser, but at least now I don't cringe or mind opening up IE every so often.

I'd lay suspect to your pc and not to the software itself.

And for the record, I'm on xp 64-bit SP2 with a Quad core q9550 OC @ 3.8ghz with 8 GB ram
