After using firefox since last December i decided to switch back to internet explore because my ISP told me it works better with their services and it does but as soon as i started using IE yet again as before it got infected by adware.
    IE sucks! Back to Firefox

Anyone have any suggestions to get rid of this adware since my stupid new macafee doesn't detect shit anymore.

Ad-aware and Spy Sweeper are my favs. What was the problem Firefox was having with your ISP's services? I bet it's something that could have been fixed with a few tweaks to Firefox.

You could use zonealarm and spybot s&d, both are free and are very useful in cleaning spyware.

    Hi Chris

I use FF too but keep IE as well.

Must say it's true that some webservices work better but IE than FF.
Experienced it recently, but then I just switch to IE if necessary.

As far as the spyware, maybe try spywareblaster.
It's free and works for both IE and FF

Don't know exactly what it does but I update it regulary and have no problems, but then I also have Avast with all services running, Spybot S&D, Adaware.

    These are all free.

    Good luck

but spyware blaster should help you out if you have a need to use IE.:D

    http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

ps spyware blaster trys to block spware and ad before they get on your computer

thanks everyone for the help. I got Spy sweeper and cleaned out all of the stuff i think. the only problem is i prolley won't use spy sweeper again until i get more adware.:D I also might use zone alarm for some stuff as lots of people say its good.

I also have a problem with IE it says an addon is missing a dll file but when i go to fix it it doesn't show the file. i think I'll just delete stupid IE.

Don't listen to your ISP, interent explorer sucks on everything. It's slow, spam, and full of crap.

I haven't ever really gotten into the craze of Firefox or anything other than IE. Its also why I am forced to reformat my computer pretty often too I'm sure. ;)

IE7 is the best browser, i use opera and firefox sometimes for the dev toolbars and aps but theres really no need.

    I use vista aswell.
