Let's think. There are two commodities in the Internet: email and search. Yahoo based its business on email service. Google pursued search strategy. What other Internet commodities are there worth pursuing?
not a bad question. hmmm...people do mostly use the internet for email and searching for info...but those aren't the only two commodities. how about combine the two?
I believe Google's beaten you: Gmail. I dont think the internet has any more uses than searching (for information) and communication. Though, you could look at communication as being broader - not just email. IM, Social Networking etc... Searching is pretty much covered on the internet - probably not the best place to try and start out.
well I would say also communicating with the world would be a key feature of the internet. of course this is already covered with blogs, but I think 'self expression' is a huge part of the internet.
