I know that there are several similar topics, about life without internet and addiction to DP, but what about internet addiction? Has anyone ever told you that you have a problem with it and that you need help? Is constant use of internet ruining your life somehow? Several people, including my family have criticized me that I'm addicted to internet, so I just start believing that. Is internet really running your life and when does use of internet grows into addiction? In my opinion I think that internet is often used by people that are introvert or have all sorts of issues, anxiety for example, and they try to compensate or to find a certain relief in their life through it. Anyhow, I think that obsessive internet usage is healthier than use of alcohol, tobacco and drugs. I personally use internet because I would rather sit and stare into the PC instead of going to clubs and meeting new people, I'm just not that people person I guess. On other hand I would rather shoot some hoops instead of playing something online or sitting on facebook. What about you, do you feel that you're addicted and if you think so do you feel any consequences and are you trying to break off from your addiction and how?
I am an addict. My family says I should quit. But when your mind is focused on your goals, nothing or no one can stop you. Basically, I dont know what can make me stop. But now, all I can see is my plans and future.
I'm addict too and my family said that to me but I don't use it on game or things like that I just do useful things over here and try to earn a few money
well man i guess , i m just like u but i think i m pretty good in communicating with ppl , but i would rather lost my self for days in internet orld , i dont wanna change i love it that way lol i guess that made geek some how lolz
I am on the internet a lot, some may say to much, but I would certainly not call it an addiction. The internet has become an integral part of my life. It's used for business and for pleasure. It's created opportunities for me that otherwise would have never been possible, and for that, I am thankful.
I agree with you, that the internet is better when compared with alchohol drink or go to the club that night, I could not agree at all what you mentioned
I am also a net addict like you. Internet is a thing without which i will die for sure. It is my knowledge source It has got every thing in it. Its give me a nice feeling to have anything n everything within my reach.
Nope, I would gladly spend all days outdoor without a computer and web... but as webmaster and online investor I rarely have such opportunity.
Same here. I couldn't leave it behind if I tried, to be honest - it's a great place to learn about anything and everything you're interested in, "meet" people you never would have otherwise, and generally expand your horizons. It's my source of income, too, so that would be a tough tie to break. Plus, it's not like I never get out. I just couldn't see cutting it out of my life entirely. I meet people all the time who hardly ever get on the web - and they're almost always blown away by all the stuff I know. (Not saying that to brag - it's purely an illustration of how much of a positive impact the internet can have on someone.)
Well, I was addicted to it from the beginning but don't know why. May be its made for me only. - Mr.President -
