Hi guys, was not to sure where to put this, but thought i could not go wrong in the Business General Category. i have a potential client approach me interested in setting up their own internet cafe business, but not an actual cafe! They want to put single or multipul computers in a large amount of locations. Now they asked me about software that would allow the use of time code's and credit cards for payment to access the internet. I have looked at a few options and all i have found so far is systems that require a local server to control the computers. Anyone know of anything out there that would allow for standalone computers to do this job? ta!
Put a software into each that decides access time on payment. This software is further connected to a payment gateway. It's like you have a demo software on each computer separately, but when you buy the license key, it sends payment directly to your PayPal account & authorizes itself.
yup that is the plan, i was wondering it anyone knew of anything out there or wether i would have to bespoke build it!
Hmm.... I wonder if that's worth the trouble. There will most likely needed *somebody* in the location (to make sure people don't steal those computers etc.) and he probably spends his time surfing the net and reading magazines... wouldn't it make sense to have that dude also collect payments?
