today I'm trying something from japan!

the outside says "mint milk" so I expect that is the flavor. The opening is ziplock so I can store some for later. Each candy is individually wrapped. It kind of tastes like an oreo. Except the chocolate cookies are replaced by mint. It's good, I like it. It gives off that minty/menthol taste.

my only concern is are these really candy, or are they laxatives? guess I'll find out soon enough.

if you like mints and frosting, yeah. Nobody said they were bad. they were more complicated flavor than our typical american candy.

Did you get the runs after them by the mints?

I hate that when you eat too many Polo's.

    mint gives you the runs?

It did occur to me that maybe these weren't candy at all and maybe they were laxatives. but if they are, they didn't affect me.

It says on like gum and mints ' Warning, these contain a source of phenylalanine. This may cause laxative effects'

I'm saving teacakes for last because they look the best.

yesterday I had the oatcakes with cheese (as suggested)

I had chedder, mozzarella, and pepperjack.

the oatcakes tasted like...dry oatmeal. I don't like it. It made my mouth all dry. It had almost no flavor, just was dry crunchy stuff. I ended up eating just the cheese on its own.

Yeah, oatcakes arn't that great. Too dry IMO, some butter then cheese makes them a bit better (less dry). Or just using cream cheese...
