If you are looking for ccTLD domains like .jp, .se, or .hk, many of them have English language interfaces.

For example, Loopia.se sells idn.se (Swedish IDNs), jp-domains.com sells idn.jp (Japanese IDNs), and hkdnr.hk sells idn.hk (Hong Kong - Chinese). They all have English language interfaces. Remember that the prices may be in Swedish Kroner or Hong Kong dollars or whatever. JP-domains uses PayPal and uses US Dollars if you want.

Enom, Dynadot, Domainsite, and many many other registrars sell IDN dot com, net, org, info, ws, biz, tv, cc, etc. Just find one you like. I think most Chinese domainers use Enom or Domainsite. Japanese domainers use a variety of other registrars based in Japan.

By the way, ICANN is the non-profit, private sector corporation that has assumed responsibility from the US Government for coordinating certain Internet technical functions, including the management of Internet domain name system. All registrars of .com, .net and .org TLD's must be accredited by ICANN. Check out this interesting video from ICANN on IDNs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rod8ZJjpJO4

For everyone that's been PMing me, yes, you can access these with Internet Explorer 7 and view the domain in its true unicode form by making sure the language tag is added into your list (Tools > Internet Options > Languages).

    Firefox is also compatible.

Just copy paste and try... lol.

It's hilarious how SO MUCH is burning up with these domains and it seems no one cares. It's like the mid 90s all over again, Burns.

I've already raised my asking prices for some IDNs by 4 fold.

2008 may bring a brand new perspective.... What happens will happen. If people want to wait it out and buy at a higher price, that is a choice.

I never really liked selling domains. I don't plan on selling much. I like the idea of having foreign language sites with foreign language domain names. They should be revenue producers, not flipped like used cars.

But, at the right price.... :p

Hey guys, after looking at this went out and bought one, but no one seems willing to appraise it.

English.net in Arabic (all major TLDs taken, even .info), what do you think it's worth?

Exactly what I'm doing right now. My portfolio of over 700 IDNs seems like they will be doing more than paying for themselves next year. I still remember the explosion in January... my PPC revenue went up around 100x.

Pictures of what IDNs really look like to those who aren't using IE7 with the correct language tags (For those who sent me PMs and don't understand what I'm saying). This is what I'm trying to explain... when IE7 becomes mainstream (standardized--> all IE6 upgraded to IE7) IDNs will be gold.

**Welcome, Michael! Nice to see you here.

The pages can also be in native language rather than ASCII (e.g. the page called 'index.html' can be in Japanese, or whatever).
