International cheques in India - Anything less than 21 days?

Dollar cheques (checks) in India take 21 days to get credited, once the cheque has been deposited in one's account. Is there any bank, which gets this job done faster without taking any fees?

You can get it done in 1-2 weeks (am not sure) but they charge for this service - some $5-10.

Does anyone know if banks like Bank of America in Mumbai, Citibank, HSBC or any such foreign bank processes dollar cheques faster than 21 days?

I am sure about my facts. If you have an account with Bank of India, and your dollar cheques have been processed in a week and the amount credited, then let us know.

Correct, that is the case. Bank of India processes dollar cheques from clickbank & some other clients for me in about 7 days. Even 2checkout cheques when I used to use 2checkout were processed in about the same time. Same goes for adbrite cheques that I rarely receive & more recently, text link ads affiliate payout.

Banks generally are not concerned with the source of funds, Incase the bank has asked you to, Write to them saying these are your earnings from online Ad revenues,

Still in such an advance stage of Internet ad revenues majority of the people or officials of banks in India are not aware of the same,

They have to be knowledge d by us like we do to a 1 st grade kid :)

Every bank takes around 30 days to clear international cheque. However you will loose 1700+ INR as clearing cost :(
