Hi I bought a dedicated server from hostgator and moved my gallery which worked nice with my shared server ( hostgator ). i moved to a deicated bcos i got lots of internal server errors in my shared account when online user count reaches 200 +, But in my dedicated server , it sgetting internal server errors even when less then 100 users were online. What might be the problem ?Can anyone help me ? Server Config: Intel Xeon Dual Core 1 Gb Ram Thanks in Advance
Hi Sorry for the late reply, I dont have the error log, as per the technicians, my site is taking too much memory and the mysql is overloaded. They increased my process limit to 200 per user,apache connections to 100 and mysql connections to 200. But it didnt worked. As per their advice i bought a new server with 4 gb RAM, intel xeon 1.86 GHz. Is that enough resource to run a site with a gallery having more than 100000 Photos and 100 + users online Am using cpanel and linux Thanks in Advance Prashant
The new server should be fine. If not, then there is a serious problem with your image hosting program.
