Internal Page PR IS More than Index Page?

    Can any one explain me why the Internal Page Pagerank (PR) IS More than Index Page?
    How i solve this Prblem?
    Help Needed.

    i had this once , a sub page was pr 6 , and main was 5 , i discovered later that it happened because a high rank page linked to my sub page .

    why do you consider this as a problem ?

    Is that internal page a forum? Many people link to the forum of a site rather than the index page.
    Apart from that, a high page rank is good either way.
