To all the SEO experts, what is your view on linking between your own pages with relevant keyword phrases from your higher pr ranked pages? Good or bad idea? For example article page A is much older and has a PR4 ratting and i link a simple phrase to a newer article on your site, would it help with SEO.
It would definitely help...it's helped with a lot of sites we've developed...internal linking is one of the easiest means of getting links with relevant anchor text
Yeah, completely agree with sameerpanjwani. You have to maximize the link potential you have within your own content, its probably the easiest links you'll ever get and not doing it really just means that your shooting yourself in the foot
Benefit u wud get that it Wud get indexed soon by google spider. Second your new page wud get PR when next PR wud Update. Third if your high ranked page getting traffic then inner wud get traffic if it properly linked at right place. Means your page becomes visible for users........... Interlinking always prefer to make visible your internal or deep pages for visitors. It does not give any backlink. Or this is not consider as a backlink by Google............

internal linking is necessary. it is a main part of seo. seo have two section, first is On-page and second is Off-page.
