Curious if anyone has any data or thoughts on a good rule of thumb for the number of internal links to the same page, from the same page? I have a ski equipment article of just over 600 words which looks closely at one of the product lines I represent on my site. On that page, I hyperlink 5-6 times to the relevant (and same) product page, with variations in the hypertext. One paragraph has two links, within a sentence of each other. I have read that having links too closely to each other can earn the wrath of the SEs, but haven't seen specific information on linking to the same page from a given page. Any thoughts? Paul
