Hello, Looking for some advice here... I have a website that I am working on that seems to have an issue with the internal links (possibly outbound links too) not being picked up by the search engines. When doing an analysis with SEO competition tools as to poor rankings (these dropped off in May 2009) competitors that rank for the same keyword with similar pages have the same number of external links to the page and a lower number of external links to the domain... not sure of link quality just yet. What these other sites do have is a huge number of internal links from navigation, content, etc... my client site has a minimal amount of internal links being picked up. The point here is not asking for advice for SEO by itself but this is just how I found the issue. This is the same across the site so it is not page specific. There are many links to this page internally in navigation, breadcrumbs, other links within content, etc... but they are not being picked up by search engines. These other pages where the links originate are indexed. The site is built in cold fusion. Can anyone offer advice on what to look for here or why the internal links are not being read? Thanks in advance!
