Internal linking for Google

It's important to link internally when doing on-site SEO, but does it matter if you link with the full domain, or the partial domain?

    Example:
    Full domain: http://www.domains.com/category/page.htm
    Partial Domain: /category/page.htm

Ok, I think most platforms, software and CMS make it /category/page.htm anyway, so nevermind. ;)

It does not matter for search engines.. it is the anchor text that matters.

    Good luck!

It is better if you have : <a href="http://domain/page.html> . Not only for seo but in some situations you content can be copied or scraped and so you can benefit from this.

Right on buddy! This happened to me once before, although admittedly I didn't do it on purpose, it was just dumb luck

I would always advise you use the full URL because the benefit is that you would be using exactly the same format as people who are linking in. Saying that I have not noticed a difference either way but I do think that the above would be considered a best practise.

Yeah better full url, remember there's a difference between each url format like for example "http://site[dot]com" and "http://www[dot]site[dot]com", the same in internal linking.
